Character Reference Pictures

For Gretel, I wanted her to have the smart girl look, maybe a dress with stockings and maybe pony tails.

Hansel if basically going to be the opposite of Gretel, I want him a bit chubby, wearing overalls, and have that dumb look to him.

For the witch, she is going to have a normal female figure but her face will have the typically witch look. Big long nose and long chin. She will be wearing her witch hat the whole time. I'm not sure about the typical witch broom...any suggestions? Maybe a spoon and spatchula?

I'll be uploading more stuff after...like floorplan, maybe a rough for the house and character.

Reference for the House and Background

Here are my reference that I might use or use.
Obviously candy, icing, and frosting everywhere.
Trying to combine a spooky looking house with candies.

As for my background, I'm going to keep it in the woods so I found alot of dead trees.
Tree stumps, weird looking trees, and fences.
I always like the volume light passing through the leave and branchs so I'm going to
try to incorporate that into the background.

Production Art - Hansel and Gretel

Hi there, I will be posting reference picture and some of the ideas I came up with for Hansel and Gretel.

I will be using the same plot as the original story but with a little of my twist to it.

Hansel and Gretel originally suppose to be about a couple that didn't have enough food to supply their kids (Hansel and Gretel) so they try to get rid of them by luring them into the woods.....and they get lost...
